Their new album showcases this with a handfull of amazing and diverse tunes that range in style from hard salsa to Latin jazz, boogaloo and cha-cha-cha to salsa romantica and descarga. While the basic formula is classic, the band brings a fresh and honest approach to the album that feels both young and vivacious, so the combination of years of experience and honing their chops actually ironically helps them sound more assured, youthful and hip than many new salsa bands around today! The title encapsulates this special quality of old and new that makes this band so unique today: what they bring is full of sabor and swing!

A product of New York City and the excitement and turbulence of the sixties, the New Swing Sextet made its professional debut performing in the Singer Bowl at the last New York Worlds Fair in 1965.
